I am a Florida girl born and raised and a proud graduate of the University of South Florida. I came to Markel via the FirstComp acquisition in 2010. I began my insurance career in 2007 when we opened our beautiful office in Tampa, Florida. I am an Underwriting Director for the East region managing our Retail Small Commercial products.. My team is responsible for the production underwriting and profitability of 22 states from Florida to Maine and as far west as Tennessee. I enjoy serving as Treasurer on the Steinbrenner Athletic Booster Club BOD and President of my HOA. I am the local action team leader in Tampa for MWN, Markel Women's Network. 1 also plan the volunteer events for our Tampa associates and volunteer at the Village Community Food Pantry and Feeding Tampa Bay.
