In my role with NFIB, I help to drive the growth, profitability, operational effectiveness and compliance of NFIB’s workers’ compensation program in Texas. I serve as a key relationship manager for both internal and external stakeholders engaged in this program. As well as develop and execute on an annual communications strategy to create awareness of the program with insurance agents and NFIB members.Prior to excepting my position with NFIB 9 years ago, I have had more than 27 years’ experience in the Workers’ Compensation field. I began my career as a file clerk for the State of California in 1992, working my way up through the claims ranks to the position of adjuster and special projects trainer. Then I went over to the policy side and spent the next 11 years as a policy premium field auditor. After moving to Texas in 2013, I worked for 2 years as a complaint and compliance auditor for TDI-DWC.
